Welcome!
I am a Certified Childbirth Educator (Birth Works International) and Certified Doula (DONA) with more than 15 years of experience teaching prenatal classes and attending births. I currently live in Iowa City. I am committed to helping expectant parents obtain the birth they desire and gain confidence in their ability to give birth. I believe that everyone deserves access to information and the opportunity to make informed choices. I believe that women are powerful, and that birth can be a positive and transformative experience.
I offer evidence-based, non-judgmental birth services, with the belief that each birth is different, and each family's needs are unique. As a doula, I attend births in both home and hospital settings. I consider it an honor and a privilege to support families during the childbearing year.
